JAN 1861 - 12 Augl 1912) John B. Kaudy died
at the home of his son Lewis Kaudy at Christie, Clark County, Wis.,
Aug. 12, 1920, aged 59 years, 7 months and 2 days. The cause of his
death was hardening of the arteries, from which he suffered for
about four years. He was born at Neosho, Wis., Jan. 10, 1861; he
came to Colby, Wis. at an early age and lived there till about ten
years ago, when he moved to Christie. He was married to Miss Luella
Brown March 24, 1886. She, with three children, survive him, one
son Lewis of Christie, a daughter Ione, also at Christie and
another, Mrs. Edward Korzilius of Watersweet, Mich. He leaves also
four brothers and three sisters: Nick of Webster, Gerhard and Matt
of Grand Rapids, Wis., Joe of Vancouver, B.C., Mrs. Robert Foote of
Ft. Edward, N.Y., Anna Brott of Longmont, Colo., Mrs. Belle K.
Leichtnam of Hurley, Wis. He was a man who was much esteemed by all
who knew him. The funeral was
held at the M.E. Church at Christie. Those from away attending the
funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Matt Kaudy of Grand Rapids, Mr. and Mrs.
Clement Kaudy of Ripon, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Korzilius of Watersweet,
Mich., Mr. and Mrs. John Pribbenow of Colby, De Lacy and LeRoy
Liechtnam of Hurley and Arlie Scofield of Spencer.
