Frett, wife of Jacob Frett, who has been ill with pneumonia for
several weeks, died on Saturday evening last, aged sixty-five
years. She removed with her husband to this place (Thorp, Clark
County, Wis.) from Calumet Co. five years ago and during her
residence here has made few acquaintances, constantly devoting
herself to the care of her husband, who has been afflicted with
disease for several years and needs constant attention. She leaves
two sons, John and Joseph, and five daughters, Mrs. F. Broeder,
Mrs. Henry Lindeman and Anna Fret, of this village, Mrs. Maggie
Brill of Kaukauna, Wis., and Mrs. Mary Nictoy of Iona, Iowa, to
mourn the loss of a kind mother and true Christian. The interment
took place from the Catholic Church on Tuesday, Rev. Father Joerres
