Mrs. Christie, Robert’s mother, was thrown from a buggy, the first of the week, and had an arm broken.
George Austin has returned from somewhere and reports favorably for the grasshopper sufferers of Minnesota.
Neverman & Co. will furnish the first lager-beer of the season next Wednesday. It will be on tap at all the saloons in the village, and at their brewery.
John Thayer left for Pigeon Creek Wednesday afternoon. Pigeon Creek is supposed to be located in Jackson County, but we do not know that John so understood it.
