Kaszubowski, Irene (29 APR 1883 – 13 MAY 1967)
Mrs. Irene Kaszubowski, route 2, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away Saturday
evening, May 13, 1967 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Chippewa Falls.
Mrs. Kaszubowski was born April 29, 1883 in Poland. She came to the United
States and lived in Chicago for about 2 years. In 1909 she moved to Thorp and
was united in marriage to Aleck P. Kaszubowski. She lived on a farm north of
Thorp until her death.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Aleck, and one son, Victor.
Surviving are 4 sons, Alex of Superior, Stanley and Ted of Thorp, Edwin of
Kenosha, and one daughter, Mrs. Walter (Irene) Hryniewicki of Chippewa Falls; 14
grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Olga in
Pennsylvania and Jenny in Poland.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lublin. She was laid
to rest in the parish cemetery.
